The event is a logical continuation of the very successful 1st, 2nd and 3rd Eastern European Conferences on Rare Diseases and Orphan Drugs, organized in 2005, 2006 and 2008. This year, the conference is supported and co-funded by a grant from the European Union, in the framework of the Public Health Programme.
